Fatim Filali Idrissi was born in Fez in 1975. Raised between Morocco and Saudi Arabia, she grew up in a family deeply rooted in the traditional Moroccan craft and trade. After the passing of her father, she took on significant responsibilities at a young age, contributing to the management of the family’s artisanal business.
Driven by a passion for heritage and refinement, she founded Maison Fatim in 2002 — a haute couture house dedicated to elevating the Moroccan caftan into a timeless symbol of elegance and cultural pride.
Over the years, Maison Fatim has grown to become a reference in luxury Moroccan fashion, celebrated for its exquisite detailing, exclusive designs, and deep cultural resonance.
Throughout her career, Fatim Filali Idrissi has been acclaimed for her meticulous craftsmanship, commitment to authenticity, and the way she merges traditional artistry with contemporary sophistication. Her work has been recognized internationally, and she was honored by UNESCO in both 2020 and 2023 for her role in preserving and innovating Moroccan textile heritage.
Today, Fatim continues to design each piece with the same vision: to celebrate Moroccan elegance through exclusive creations worn by women who embody grace, strength, and legacy.
